WE BUILD is a "minority" female owned and operated development company established to create sustainable communities by adopting the "It takes a village" mantra. Through a collaboration of strategic partnerships, WE BUILD engages change agents to afford sustainability for generations to come.
In response to negative impacts upon our environment and natural resources, WE BUILD uses environmentally friendly materials in its development -eco-friendly or ecological construction in building its structures to ensure that it is non-harmful to the environment and resource efficient. WE BUILD integrates post consumer products, earth friendly materials and environmentally sound technology in our construction.
Integral to WE BUILD’s model is, in association with Niques Design, the teaching of up-cycling and adaptive reuse - integrating items for a purpose other than it was designed.
Whether building, remodeling or interior decorating, WE BUILD integrates up-cycle materials salvaged from older structures and or adaptive reuse materials.
A goal of WE BUILD is its pattern-pending UMUZI co-op smart villages designed to address disparities and socioeconomic challenges in communities of color.
